Terms and privacy

This page explains the rules for using RubikSolver.com and how data is handled when you visit. Effective date: July 7, 2026.

Terms of use

RubikSolver.com is a free online tool for solving Rubik's Cubes and other 3x3x3 twisty cube puzzles. You may use it for personal and educational purposes.

The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that solutions are always the shortest possible, that the site is free of errors, or that it is available at all times. You use it at your own risk, and we are not liable for any damage that results from using it.

Rubik Solver is an unofficial project made by fans of the puzzle. "Rubik's Cube" is a registered trademark of Spin Master Toys UK Ltd, formerly Rubik's Brand Ltd. The name is used here only to say which kind of puzzle the tool solves. This site is not connected to, endorsed by, or sponsored by the trademark owner.

The site links to external websites. We are not responsible for their content or for how they handle your data.

Privacy policy

You do not need an account to use the site, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal detail. The colors you paint on the cube are processed in your browser and are never uploaded to a server.

Cookies

RubikSolver.com does not set cookies of its own and does not store personal data on its own behalf. However, the third-party services that help us run the site may set cookies or collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. These services are listed below.

Third-party services

Web hosting. The site is hosted with GoDaddy or Bluehost. Like every hosting provider, they keep standard server logs that can include your IP address and the time of your visit. See the GoDaddy privacy policy and the Bluehost privacy policy.

Cloudflare. Traffic to the site passes through Cloudflare, which provides security and performance services. Cloudflare may set cookies that are needed for its security features and processes technical connection data. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and from which country. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers and processes data according to the Google privacy policy.

Advertising. We may show ads from third-party networks in the future. Ad networks may use cookies to deliver and measure ads and, where the law permits, to personalize them. If ads are added, this page will be updated with the details.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the solver works without cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If your browser sends privacy signals such as Do Not Track, third-party services handle them according to their own policies.

Changes

We may update these terms and this policy from time to time, for example when a third-party service is added or removed. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision.
